We highly recommend booking your shore excursion online as early as possible to secure availability. Shore excursions tend to fill up quickly. If you need to cancel a reservation please send us an email with your name indicating you want to cancel the tour.
If your cruise ship does not visit the port due to bad weather or makes other changes that do not allow you to attend the booked excursion we will guarantee you a 50% refund of the total price of the excursion.The 50% will be considered to pay car rental, tour guides, etc.
We will be at the pier even before the time the first tender arrives. We will be waiting for you at the docking area with a sign with your name on it. Once the group is gathered we will start our tour. After the tour, we will return you to the pier to take you back to the tender area before the ship leaves the dock.
National Park is available by the pier and it is charged by the Park Rangers. The value of this ticket is 80 USD per person and is not included in the cost of the tour. This ticket is payable only in cash. Please consider that only good condition bill will be accepted. Please keep your ticket with you all the time as it will be required at the visitation sites.
Tours include private transport, private guide. Food is not included in the price. However they are some places like Anakena and Rano Raraku were you can have a small snack. We recommend to bring small cash with you.
To ensure that your tour experience is as seamless and enjoyable as possible, we will be at the port before the scheduled tender time of 08:00. We are aware that the first to disembark are those passengers who have purchased their excursions at the Shorex counter on board. Therefore we will be patiently waiting in port to start the tour. For this we advise you to organize yourself in a group and get off all together in the same tender..
Upon arrival at the port, you will find our team waiting for you with a sign displaying your name, ready to escort you to our van and begin the tour as soon as all members of the group have gathered. To make the most of your tour time, we will provide you with a list of the names of all participants in the tour beforehand.
To ensure that everyone is able to disembark the ship together, we recommend that you reach out to the other members of the group and coordinate to meet at the gangway and take the same tender. In this way you will be asked if you would like to be the tour coordinator onboard and the full names and cabin numbers will be provided to make the organization easier.
This will help to minimize any delays and ensure that you are able to fully enjoy the tour experience.
